About the Role
We are looking for a Site Engineer to join our team at our Kasaragod site. The candidate will play a critical role in managing and supervising solar installations, ensuring on-site work is executed efficiently and in line with the company’s quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy and Leadership
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of solar project installations and maintenance activities on-site.
- Ensure that project timelines and budgets are strictly adhered to.
- Collaborate with the Central Project Management and O&M teams to ensure smooth site execution and project handover.
- Conduct site surveys, coordinate material handling, and ensure safety standards are upheld.
- Monitor the performance of solar systems and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Liaise with clients and local contractors to ensure expectations are met and address any site-specific concerns.
- Prepare daily reports and documentation related to site activities, including progress updates and any challenges faced.
Educational Qualifications
- Diploma or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering/EEE/ECE or related field.
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems, electrical work, and project execution.
- Must be a local Malayalam-speaking candidate to effectively communicate with local teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with industry safety standards and practices.
Work Experience
- At least 1 year of experience working in the solar industry, specifically in solar project installations or Operations & Maintenance (O&M).
